Jensen's 1st Day Trip

We went on our first (day) road trip this weekend. Matt's cousin Josie graduated from high school this year, so the main purpose of the trip was to attend her party. But since we were headed east on  I-80 we decided to make a couple additional stops. 

Wendy and Kyle had baby Haylee five weeks before we had Jensen. We stopped by their home in Kalona to finally meet her and introduce Jensen. 

Then we stopped by BackPocket Brewery. Stacy met us there and got to see how much Jensen had grown in 2 weeks since she saw him at the hospital. We didn't stay long - just long enough for Matt to enjoy a seasonal beer in his mug (and I enjoyed a root beer). 

Then we headed up to Shueyville for the grad party. I didn't get a pic of the grad, but did take one of Jensen and Aunt Lindsey. 

Overall it was a fun day - a bit chaotic with feedings, pumping and diaper changes, and it kinda zapped our energy, but we survived. :)
